Kay, It was the rum, but someone hid it from me! I feel a little like I could cause some destruction and confusion and not feel bad about it at all. In fact I think I would enjoy it. In fact I just might become a pirate.
I watched the clip, but I didn't see the movie. I'm with you Julie - so sad to see that a child had to die - I get all philosophical wanting to give him a fresh start looking for reform instead of death.
Robin, You wouldn't be a very good pirate. At least you would be a very poor pirate, you would probably give all the money and jewels back. How sad. You can run the pirate reform clinic. Reform us nasty rummy pirates. :)
Yes, I'd be a poor pirate and you are right I'd probably be giving the jewels and stuff back.
I like the idea of a pirate reform clinic. Actually I hope at some point in my life to be involved in one (well not for pirates, but you get the idea). I'm not quite sure which area I would choose to help in - there are so many to choose from and coming from a broken family (parents both on 4th marriages) I understand some of what the kids of broken families go through and my heart hurts for them. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 is my Scripture I hang onto.

Hoist the colors!!
I love those movies!
I like the movies too. The start of this almost makes me cry. I'm silly I guess. But it is sad to hang a child, even a pirate child.
I'm thinking Kay is on to something!
If that is supposed to stir your innards, it worked! Are you feelin' like killin' somebuddy?
