Thursday Thirteen

This is my first Thursday Thirteen. Here are thirteen things that I really enjoy.

1. Sitting in a sun warmed car on a cold, or drowsy day.

2. Reading a thrilling book without being interrupted by anything.

3. Sleeping until I wake up on my own.

4. Looking at my just cleaned spotless house-I don't do this much :)

5. Cooking something I'm good at cooking and that my family eats.

6. Going outside in the summer and star gazing.

7. Going outside in any season and star gazing- unless it's cold.

8. Being warm when it's cold.

9. Being cool when it's hot, muggy, yukky, humid.

10. Watching cartoons,( not stupid Japanese ones), real cartoons.

11. Writing a poem.

12. Petting a cat...one that enjoys being touched.

13. A real good laugh. The sillier the better.

Well Julie - I noticed you don't like being cold, except on a hot muggy day, cool is okay! Thanks for stopping by!

Hi Julie - love your list I could have written them all but 11 and 12. I have cat issues from way back when I was about 3 or 4 years old. I'd like to be able to write poetry, but its not my gift, so I just enjoy the work of those that share their gift!

I like to read in a sun warmed car. I used to do that a lot when I was a kid. Not so much for cartoons anymore; can't write poems. Everything else I like.

I liked your list. Once in the coldest part of winter, when it was the night of "falling stars", we drove out into the country where there were no lights to obscure the stars, opened the sun roof in our car, covered up with blankets, and leaned back to watch the stars. It was so pretty, and we were able to stay warm.

I like all those things. Writing poetry is kinda frustrating for me. But I like it now and then.
