Yup, just a little rain today and last night.
This is the drainage ditch that runs behind our yard.
We usually have 12/15 feet between the fence and the ditch.
Our house is dry, but the yard will squish for a week probably.
Good for the...um...good for something...somewhere...

That actually looks fairly tame compared to other parts of the world. Boy, that is a lot of rain water. You ever think about the fact that God made that exact water when he created the world? That water is really, really old!

Your little rain looks like a lot of rain, but your mom is right its better than other parts of the world that have severe flooding.
I love a little rain...emphasis on little. But your pictures, to me, make a lot of rain look lovely. I can almost smell the air. Don't you just love the smell of rain or after the rain? I bet your home smells delightful.
